The following outlines my most relevant work experience, as well as some of the duties of each job I have held:

Communications Associate – Avodah – March 2021 – Present

As the communications associate, I manage the organization’s digital platforms, including website, blogs and social media.

  • Work with the Communications Director, Graphic Designer, and team leaders to implement effective communication strategies and track success using data/metrics.
  • Work with the communications team to create and edit program materials, including blog posts, web content, mass emails, social media content, marketing materials, video scripts, and presentations.
  • Work with Avodah’s staff teams to establish effective social media strategies and campaigns.
  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns for Avodah’s programs including the Service Corps and the Jewish Justice Institute
  • Assist with website development and content management.
  • Support Communications Director in executing marketing campaigns for major communications projects, including the launch of new programs and initiatives.

As the business development manager, I listen to prospective clients’ business goals and develop responsive marketing proposals to help them achieve said goals. I also oversee all promotional efforts for the agency, including coordination of internal and external communications across our email, social and website platforms.

  • Implemented social media strategies to engage current and prospective clients and employees
    • Increased follower growth across social media platforms by 13.6% in 2019, gaining nearly 500 new followers
    • Increased total engagement across social channels by 12% in 2019, earning 25,300 engagements

Board of Directors, Marketing Chair – Girls Rock! Indianapolis – Present

Volunteer – January – March 2020

I joined GRI’s marketing committee in January 2020 and proved myself as a leader in marketing communications. I was elected to the Board of Directors and named Marketing Chair by June 2020. 

  • Led website redevelopment project in partnership with local marketing agency
  • Developed a content strategy for social media
    • Increased organic Facebook followers by 51 in 10 months, with an average engagement rate of 13.75 reactions per post
    • Increased organic Instagram followers by 54 in 10 months, with an average engagement of 35.5 likes per post
  • Raised $650 through Facebook fundraising campaign in just 12 days

Subsequent to my role at Indiana Futsal, I was offered a promotion to the position of Social Media Producer for Indiana Soccer
